Even if it is their mid-range card it still heats up like a high end card. The stock cooling is absolutely pathetic on such cards, a single slot cooler is asking for disaster. The only times I've gotten good results is with massive 3 slot coolers (Accelero Extreme types) which I suppose could be possibly done within 2 slots.
